David and I left on May 21st. to fly down to Georgia for my sister Ali's graduation from High School.
The trip was great, although we were not prepared for the heat and humidity!! Good Gosh it was hot! I got to drive a SWEET MUSTANG while we were there. I thought this would be the car for me once the kids were not in need of "mom's" taxi service, but those cars are SMALL, I kept hitting my head everytime I got out. Anyway it was cool just to drive one ( I drove a little fast!!)
Of course I let David drive once or twice!.
Joe and his family came the following day. The house was a little crowded so we stayed with Nolan and Kelly. Such great hosts!
We would all get together at night for dinner and card games and lots and lots of laughing. I don't know what it is but we laugh at the crasiest things. It could just be a simple word that may have a little bit of sexual overtone to it, a skit with a helmet (family joke) or big brother (3 of them) antics with someones boyfriend. (sorry Bo) We laugh just because someone else is laughing! And always to the point of tears and sore belly's. Of course I can't forget the food! Chick-fil-A to my hearts content. The only fast food resturant I know that is closed on Sunday. David got his Macon Road BBQ sandwiches, and the owner Tommy, was so generouse, he gave 3 huge bottles of his secrect BBQ sauces to David to take back home. Cookouts galore this summer. All in all it was a great time, once again not long enough!! Check the album to the left for more pics.
