I don't know why I haven't blogged for almost 2 months..... things HAVE been happening, I just seem to put off writing about them.
To re-cap the last few months:
October: Oma came to visit . It was a nice quiet visit, we (me, Eleigh, Li and my mom) spent a day in Gloucester/Rockport, Just a girls day out. Celebrated Eleigh's 11th B-day and Li's B-day. Li surprised me with a trip to Ireland with my mom in April. Couldn't ask for a better M.I.L!!!
November: Celebrated David's B-day and my mom's. Had a great Thanksgiving!!! Joe and family came down from Maine and Matt came home for a visit from Chicago. It was nice to be all together for the Holiday.
December: A pretty quite month considering it is such a busy, hectic one. I really wasn't in the Christmas spirit this year, not sure why. I didn't even put up the tree until the week before and Eleigh was the one to decorate it. Bah Humbug I guess. Maybe the down-slide of the economy was to blame???? We had a quite Christmas dinner at my moms with Auntie Annand Auntie Catherine as well as Uncle Bernie. David surprised me with a great gift that I wasn't expecting. My first clue was a present he gave me at home; a pint bottle of Jack Daniels with a life preserver coozie on it. Why you wonder??? Well so did I! I thought maybe we were going to party later!!?? He said it was part of my gift that I would get later and I would understand then. I had to wait until we went to mom's. Auntie Ann then gave me her gift.... A life size blue life jacket.... I am very curious at this point... now I am thinking I going on a cruise or something. David tried to convince me to put on the life jacket to be able to get the last part of my gift, of course I wouldn't (I don't like looking silly). He then led me to the back deck where my fire engine red Kayakwas sitting. WOOHOO. I was so excited!!!! I have always wanted one. Now all I have to do is wait........ for Spring!!!
January: What can I say???? It has been cold and SNOWY all month long. Our first snow was in December and I don't think it has gone away yet!!! Check out the album on the side and get a climpse of our WHITE WINTER WONDERLAND!!!
